A New Year rolls around with another raft of events and exhibitions for the whole family.
With the Christmas Fair right around the corner, there's plenty at the Horniman to get you in the festive spirit this month.
Autumn is here to stay and we're making the most of the nights drawing in with some wonderful light-themed events.
The next exhibition to open at the Horniman displays a selection of paintings and sculpture from acclaimed British artist Kurt Jackson.
We've received initial support for a £3.1m grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, for a major redevelopment of two of our Galleries, and an innovative community engagement programme.
October's an important month at the Horniman, as we kick it off with a brand new exhibition, and finish it with a whole range of family events specially planned for half term.
A dazzling new exhibition of Romanian clothing, textiles and craft opens at the Horniman, alongside a second exhibition featuring eye-catching images of contemporary Romanians living and working in London.
Volunteers and staff at the Horniman have been recognised at the 2014 London Volunteers in Museums Awards.
The votes are counted, the result is in, and we can now announce the name of the new Horniman alpaca.
The school term is starting and the kids are back in class, but we still have a full programme of family events, as well as some special evenings planned for grownups.
