Members’ Object Handling Session
Members and Benefactors are invited to join us for a drop-in object handling session focusing on toys and puppets from around the world.
Get the chance to touch some of our 3,000 handling objects from around the world in natural history, anthropology and music and learn all about the collection from our expert handlers.
Members and Benefactors are invited to join us for a drop-in object handling session in the Hands on Base. Explore the mechanisms, materials, and uses of toys: from a Zimbabwean push-along drummer, to a Russian pendulum toy, to Guatemalan worry dolls, and use a transforming doll to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood together.
This event is exclusively for members and benefactors.
