Bloomer: A Late Bloomers Monologue

Bloomer creates a world where fantasy, style and nature become one. Get up close to Bloomer’s hair sculptures, as she serenades with her soulful voice. Pouya Ehsaei – People of the Wind

Watch as our Victorian conservatory is transformed and reimagined in an immersive collaboration between Pouya Ehsaei and visual artist Amir B. Ash.

The hypnotic, bass-heavy audio-visual performance is inspired by the ancient healing tradition of Zār, practiced from the Horn of Africa to Southern Iran. The work explores how Zār aimed at treating individuals troubled by negative spirits or ‘winds’ through a captivating blend of musical rhythm, chants, and dance.

Musicians in Residence

The Musicians in Residence programme showcases the vibrant music scenes of south London. Three talented musicians have been creating new music and narratives that engage with, respond to, and offer fresh insights into our collections. As part of their residency these artists are recording original music, co-curating digital artworks, developing live visuals and producing three captivating performances.
