Sam Francisco King of the Disco – Disco storytelling
Let’s start by learning some funky dance moves and get to know some groovy tunes, before settling down to hear Sarah read her picture book ‘Sam Francisco King of the Disco’, set off to decorate your very own disco mask and then get ready to shake your thing to some hot tunes.
Books will be available to buy and have signed and dedicated at the event and all craft materials will be provided. We can’t wait to see you there!
About the author
Sarah Tagholm is the author of Sam Francisco, King of the Disco. Sarah has a very unusual head. If she doesn’t do creative things, it falls off, so it’s really incredibly fortunate she never had a job in data entry. Mischievous children, nature, and all things bizarre are the inspiration behind her stories, which tend to be odd, ridiculous or, more often than not, both.
Sarah lives in Cornwall with her family, two cats and a fourteen-year-old albino toad called Cuckoo (in real life). If not reading or writing, she can usually be found in, or on or under the sea.
