The Enchanted Cinema: Ghibli’s Forest

The Enchanted Cinema is coming and they need your help with sound effects and a score for the much-loved Studio Ghibli films!

Join us for a brand new interactive show from The Enchanted Cinema.

Become part of a pop-up orchestra and create sound effects and a musical soundtrack for a selection of Studio Ghibli favourites.

You’ll start with a climb into the forest canopy using your hands, voices and experience hand-crafted animation from 100 years ago. Kids and their grown-ups will team up to play instruments – to create a live score to the mysterious bamboo forests and baby turtles of Studio Ghibli’s The Red Turtle (2016) and our favourite cat-bus and flying scenes from My Neighbour Totoro (1988).

This is your chance to bang turtle drums, strum a lyre harp and ring a zaphir chime along with an ensemble of other interesting musical instruments.
