Tankard formed of a number of vertical staves, with a hinged lid and a handle, on three feet carved with straight-edged leaf forms. Bands of scrolling vegetal forms are carved around the body as decoration. There are six wooden hoops surrounding the body of the tankard, three in the upper half, and three in the lower half. On the top of the lid is carved vegetal scrolling, with a turned knob at the centre. The handle has carved vegetal decoration on the outside.
