Two necklets consisting of strings of vegetable fibre onto which are bound numerous black gastropod shells. Where the strings join, tassels have been attached which consist of lengths of twined cord bound together. On the end of each tassel hangs a cockle shell.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
