There will be no through route in the Gardens on Saturday 19 April, and the Gardens are open on Saturday to Spring Fair ticket holders only. Museum visitors need to enter and exit via London Road.
One hundred and nineteen circular painted Ganjifa playing cards with the suits based on the avatars of Vishnu; the complete set should be 120. There are ten suits, with two higher cards in each set, depicting Vishnu's avatars. The rest of the cards in each suit depict an attribute in numbers of one to ten. Each set is also in a different colour.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
