Woven coffin cover with a cotton base with a wide weave and a multi-coloured design in raised woollen loops. The design field is divided into three. At either end is a central motif of a vase or pot from which emerge stems with flowers. The central panel has a rectangle delineated in black within which is a cross in blue, with purple diagonals across the corners. This rectangle is surrounded by eight-pointed star motifs in a variety of colours. Around the edge of the whole cover is a black border of crosses in the same woollen loops. Trimmed with a strip of green fringing around the border. Unlined.
