Wooden battledore painted in many colours. One side has scenes with many figures of people apparently paying their respects at court, with women and children in the foreground. On the reverse are figures who appear to be dancing around stacks of rice stalks or wide-trunked trees with rows of watching figures above. There are three medallions on each side of the battledore, set against a pattern of interlocking hexagons. This pattern is repeated towards the handle. There is a label affixed to the object, detailing the number.
