mace (club (weapons: bludgeon)); dagger (weapons: edged)

Spiked mace with a concealed dagger. The spherical, metal mace head has spikes, which are square in section, all over it, with one longer spike at the top. The shaft of the mace is hollow and encloses a single-bladed, blunt, sword attached to the handle, which unscrews. The sword blade itself unscrews from the handle, which has a long hollow circular guard and a circular nodule at the distal end, and was once decorated with red cloth and a spiral metal band. The whole surface of the piece is inlaid with gold in foliate and floral patterns.
