Cornet in B flat, silver plated brass. Elongated, open wrap, the mouthpipe loop extended beyond the bell, the bell detachable and carried above the valves without a stay. Three Berlin valves, apparently numbered 71, 242 and 163. Mouthpiece deeply conical and contemporary. Crooks now only for A flat and F. Bell pipe tenon detached. Slight denting in bell expansion. Loop of first valve crushed and that of second valve slightly dented. Valves are numbered as follows: 1st: 165, 2nd: 242, 3rd: 134. No serial number. Stamped: H. Distin 31 Cranbourn St. Leicester Sq., London.
