Slide trumpet sounding in F in present state. Main tubing of copper except upper part of mouthpipe. Brass spring box, upper part of mouthpipe, slide and stays. Silver ball (pommel), sleeves, slide touchpiece and bell garland. No crooks or shanks. Mouthpiece, with silver rim, contemporary. Clock spring slide return mechanism. The ball is hallmarked, but the mark illegible. The sleeves have spirally fluted centres and ends of conventional design. The bell garland is inscribed and decorated with rose, shamrock and thistle design. Some denting in bell and mouthpipe. Stamped: Chas. Pace No.2 Crown Street, Westminster, London.
