Cor anglais, English horn, body leather-covered, bell globular and of dark wood, ivory mounts. Curved, in three sections. Ten brass keys, round, cupped, mounted on pillars carried on base plates. B natural key for right thumb. Octave key for left thumb. Twin holes for third finger. Rocker between D sharp and C natural keys. Brass crook possibly original. Sound length (length overall) is 80.0 cm. Decorative gold motif on leather at joints. Stamped: Triébert Paris (Tower mark).
