Flute in D, glass, silver mounts. Four silver keys, round, flat (but shaped to the periphery of the body), mounted on pillars carried on base plates. Metal tuning slide. Fixed glass stopper. Mother-of-pearl cap with milled-edge silver mount. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 53.7 cm. Stamped: C. Laurent Á Paris (Marked Bréveté and dated 1826).
