Square wooden box, narrowing towards the base. A shallow square recess has been cut from beneath the base to create a stand. A rim has been cut into the top, so that a square lid can sit on it tightly. Both are hollowed out of solid pieces of wood and are coated on the outside with a dark material. Ifugao is written on the side of the lid in white ink.
