An almost square piece of textile, heavily embroidered with predominantly black cotton thread. There is a centre panel of small red and yellow flower and geometric motifs on a black embroidered ground. This panel is framed by a predominantly yellow strip, and further out, worked on a black ground, is a strip of three alternating motifs: three small grouped circles, a triangular motif and a swirl-shaped motif. The remaining patterning is made up of ten squares, five on each side. There are six floral motifs and four 'V' shaped motifs.
