Wide circular wooden bowl with carved handles on either side in the form of a horse's head and neck. Carved pattern along the sides of each horse's head and neck including a rosette below the ear continues as zig zag border along the rim of the bowl. Label on underside with printed: London County Council' and in handwriting 'Horniman Museum' and the number 14.
