Dome-shaped iron helmet, topped with a spike. Has nose piece. The rim of the helmet is pierced at regular intervals and in some of the perforations there are small wire rings, presumably attachments for neck and cheek pieces of what appears to be fabric. Two pieces of metal riveted on either side of the nose piece, presumably also for attachments. Engraved decoration featuring a flower, possibly a lotus, and other motifs.
