Sample of tabby-woven cotton in the form of 2 lengths of banding connected by a shared warp. The warp is attached to a split bamboo heddle bar with cream-coloured, cotton loops. A shed stick is inserted through the warp closer to one of the two pieces of textile. The warp-dominant banding is decorated with sets of multicoloured stripes. The central one(green, white, pink and purple) is framed by a different set of stripes (green, yellow, brown and purple). Each section of banding contains another section of unwoven warp. On one side the colours have faded.
