porringer

Porringer decorated in reddish brown, blue and green on a cream ground. In the centre of the porringer is a floral motif formed of groups of three radiating lines in brown, green and blue. Between this motif and the outer border are motifs formed of curved lines in brown, green or blue, more or less flower shaped and fromed of simple lines. Around the edge two concentric brown lines form a border between which is a band of green dots. To either side of the dots are simple brown brush strokes which meet to leave white chevrons within which the green dots appear.
