Short smock. Cut out from straight pieces of material, puckered at the neck. A great many designs on the sleeves, arranged in the typical pattern used in Romanian smocks, the top part of the sleeve “altita” (composed of compact rows), the “smocking” worked according to a typical technique, the designs along the sleeve are not so close together; worked in different colours. (Cotton thread with flax thread, fine coloured woollen thread, gold thread and beads). he back 630mm, length of the sleeve 80mm.
