Dish. Shaped like a deep plate, with small handle, bevelled above the bulge, where the lip turns abruptly inward, forming a slight curve. Ornamented with polished spirals and serrated lines along the top of the bulge. The polished decorative designs are to be found both on the outside and inside of the porringer. The colour is greyish black, as a result of baking. (Potter’s clay). Height 125mm, diameter at brim 250mm, diameter at bottom 120mm.
