Nutcrackers for hazelnuts (illegible -- done on size). Composed of two straight pieces, fixed into an oblong piece, placed horizontally. Decorated with notches arranged to form angular designs. (Maple wood). Length 185mm, 120mm.

This type of nut-cracker is frequently used in the Maramures area, where timber is plentyful and the art of making and decorating wooden objects is highly developed.
