Body ornament, possibly an earring, from the Wai Wai peoples of South America. The ornament is composed of four tassels made from red, pink and white beads and split seeds or shells. Each of the tassels have red and black feathers and vegetable fibre (cotton) on the end. According to documentation, the tassel can be used as a lip or ear ornament.
