spear (weapons: missiles & projectors)

Spear with and iron blade and spike, socketed on the ends of a long wooden shaft. It has a narrow, leaf-shaped blade with two triangular projections near the base. The blade is approximately the width of the socket diameter. The shaft is decorated with two sets of red and black hair alternating in bands. The top set has five longer hair bands, the bottom set has seven tufted hair bands, with the sets separated by a space for a handgrip. The butt end spike is square in section. A white paper disc is stuck on the lower shaft, inscribed `2’.
