Hair ornament. Wooden hairpin, made of a rectangular length of wood, carved in relief with five heads that have prominent mouths, in a line at one end. Below the heads is a series of 11 holes, with alternate long and short tufts of hair. The long white hair tufts have two bands dyed red, and the six short tufts consist of two black, two white, one missing, and one red. The top side and edges are stained black, while the underside is plain wood. A white paper disc marked `16’ is stuck on the front.
