Rectangular linen textile with selvedges at the shorter edges. The embroidery consists of a two repeats of a large motif depicting two confronting birds separated by a tree of life. On the left side of the textile the third repeat has no left hand bird. Beneath the bird motifs is a meandering line with identical floral motifs attached. Attached to the lower edge of the cloth is a narrow woven band with a diamond pattern executed in supplementary weft. The embroidery and the supplementary weft is worked in pink cotton thread which is much faded. There is a raw top edge.
