One of a pair of matching beaded anklets from Transkei, South Africa. Blue and white glass beads threaded onto plant fibre string and arranged in a grid pattern, with the whites arranged vertically and the blues horizontally. Decorated with pink wool tassels and pearl buttons for fastening.
