On Saturday 5 July the Gardens will be accessible to Big Fish Little Fish ticket holders only. The Museum will be open as usual and entrance will be via London Road only.
Hen's nesting ring, (ichela), made of umqungu grass and bound with umthwazi creeper stem. The ring is egg shaped and has a thick tube rim. From Transkei, South Africa. Hens are allowed to lay inside huts, in spaces between the bushwood forming, the cattle kraal wall or under bushes. Sometimes they lay in specially constructed hen coops.
