thethana, underskirt for girls of around 12 years old. Fibres made of tsikitlane plant. (Gazania sp.). The leaves are plucked and rolled on the thighs to produce threads and decorated with beads of red, blue, green - itala and yellow - setlana. Can be worn as a skirt, as by small girls who wear only a blanket or skin as a cloak in addition. Two buttons are attached to the banding to connect to the waist.
