breast ornament (personal adornment)

Orange and black chest beads threaded on two stands of commercial cotton from Maralal, which would be rolled together on the maker's knee. It is made by women, and worn by women all the times. It must be worn during ceremonies. It can be given away when the woman becomes an elder. It is worn across chest, with 1972.59 over the right shoulder and under the left arm. This one was manufactured in Nabior-Keju.
