rag doll sheet (stage of manufacture (pastimes: toys))

Rag doll sheet in the form of an uncut cotton sheet on which are coloured designs for dolls to be cut out and padded. The designs are for a Chinese mandarin and mandarin's wife, opium smoker, and a Chinese woman's bound foot. Alongside the coloured images are printed directions. The registered trade mark reads "Dean's Rag Knockabout Toy Sheets" and "Patented in the United Kingdom. Patented U. S. A. March 7th 1905".
