Four-stringed spike tube fiddle. A bowed stringed instrument composed of a carved stick carrying at one end a cylindrical resonating body with a membrane head on the top and open at the bottom. The stick with four pegs (three simple; one with squared end). A quantity of black horse-hair attached to the pegs and the cord serving as tail-piece. Simple bow consisting of a bamboo stick and black horsehair stringing. Stringing in disorder, otherwise complete and sound.
