Porcelain pipe bowl with a scene depicting a woman standing in a kitchen, wearing national dress. Above the window in the scene is an inscription: 'Peter J. / Christian / Anno 1772'. There are two other small inscriptions that are harder to read, one on the cabinet on the right side of the scene, and one on the chair to the left. Below the picture is another inscription: 'En Kone fra Ostenfeldt i Slesvig.', meaning 'a wife (or woman) from Ostenfeld in Schleswig'. The bowl is tall and narrow with a boss below and a screw thread for attachment to the stem. It is painted in various colours on white.
