Long, narrow, rectangular towel, napkin or sash of cream-coloured cotton textile, and embroidered at both ends. 3 sides have rolled hems. The fourth side shows a slightly darker coloured selvedge. The decoration consists of 2 flowering potted plants above a foliate border. The potted plants are worked in a half cross-stitch, or satin stitch in green, pink, and brown with some gold-coloured metal strip detailing. The shape of the textile suggests that it might be intended as a scarf.
