textile; floor felt

Rectangular floor felt which is constructed from 4 different coloured sections. These were cut in to smaller shapes, decorated with embroidery, and then sewn together. The textile consists of 3 diamonds, surrounded by triangular shapes. The rectangular panel created, is framed by 2 borders. Each of the sections (forming panel and inner border) is embroidered with multicoloured motifs inside a frame. The outer border is decorated with trimming along the outside edge. This ends in a fringe on the 2 shorter sides.
