Camel headdress, deve basligi. Wool, hair, shell, beads. 1813/14. Circular crown of felt with coloured tassels, with eight bands decorated with shells suspended; from these hangs a circular band and two side flaps heavily encrusted with beads. Two metal rings attached with coarse stitches separate the nine tassels on the nose and a projecting clump of horsehair. Dated 1229 AH and is inscribed “Allah”. Below the date is a yellow beaded lion, probably originally in combat with a horned animal.
