door hanging; horse furniture

Rectangular cream felt with red and black decoration on one side. The textile might be a door hanging adapted as a horse felt. The top end is rounded. The decoration consists of six narrow stripes with a dot pattern at the centre, and red and black lines alternating at either side ('guard stripes'). The middle and outer ones of these have a curved dentate patterned stripe either side. The outer two join in a curved shape at the top, surrounding the central 'tree of life'. The narrower stripes also join in a curve at the top.
