Ovoid, natural cream-coloured woollen hat which has an upturned brim which dips at the narrower sides, and extends almost to the crown at the centre of the longer sides. The rim of the felted textile appears to have been cut into this shape. The resulting flaps can be pulled over the ears in cold weather (according to the associated documentation). If the hat is turned by 45 degrees one flap can also act as a brim to shade the eyes from the sun. This is a fairly recent introduction to Iran.
