One of nine metal carving tools that belong with a group of four stone figures of Hanuman, depicting four stages of the carving process. This tool is narrowed at one end and finished in a small triangular point with sharp edges. The other end is coated with orange pigment and has a hole through it, presumably for hanging or attaching together.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
