Long, rectangular cream barkcloth ('tapa') with painted decoration in brown and grey. The decoration of the textile consists of four identical motifs framed along the longer sides by brown and grey lines. Each motif has a rectangle at its centre. These are framed by one continuous line, and several shorter lines. Some smaller areas of the ground are decorated with thinner lines. This varies in each repeat. All broader lines consist of a wider brown line which is framed by a grey outline and a row of grey dots. The smaller lines consist of thin grey lines with a wash of brown creating groupings.
