container (containers)

A basket or container made from the shell of a nine-banded armadillo shell (Dasypus novemcinctus). There are still scales and hair present over the surface of the shell. The tail would have once have fed into the mouth to create a handle, but this has since come away and dropped downwards. The mouth of the armadillo is open slightly and has thread passing through it where the tail used to be. One claw hangs from beneath the chin the other three are detatched, but two are still with the object.
