coat

Ornately decorated rust-coloured coat with no armholes, but a long tail attached at the front of the coat and draped over the shoulders in a cross shape, and extending straight down the back. The rust coloured cloth is decorated with rust flowers and trimmed along the edges with black cotton tape. On the lower front of the coat are two symmetrical and mirrored designs created by a central white plastic button set on a square of black plush fabric, from which radiates black stitching that ends in a gold or silver-coloured metal sequin. The robe-like extension is ornately decorated with multicoloured embroidered trim, lines of white plastic button ( some of which are set in black cotton fringes) bunches of black cotton fringes, gold and silver-coloured sequins, multicoloured round beads, and an oval shaped button decorated with rhinestones. The interior of the coat is partially lined with two types of multicoloured floral Russian cloth along the shoulder area and the lower edge.
