A brass Fon sculpture, two fishermen standing upright in a carved-out, varnished, wooden boat. Figure one, at the bow is holding a spear-like implement that is wrapped in string and attached to the wrist of figure with a piece of copper wire. Figure two, at the stern is holding a long copper pole with two prongs at end. Originally made by Brass Casters' Guild in Benin Republic, purchased from junk shop in England..
