Round girl’s cap with plait cover, in black cotton with heavy embroidery. The embroidery is in black, white, orange, pink, green, yellow and dark blue. Motifs are stylized and various: flowers, suns, mountains and triangles. The hat brim and plait cover have a border of dark blue, brown and white. A tuft of amuletic or talismanic yellow silk pierces the lower end of the plait cover, which has a black tie to control the hair. The cap and plait cover are lined with factory-made cloth – a pattern of roses and irises in pink, blue and yellow on a black background.
