Kava sieve constructed in a spiral basketry technique, which is produced by bundling together coconut leaflet pinnacles in a spiral conical structure and then binding these together with split bamboo withies that lock every two courses together successively. The upper rim of the funnel-like sieve is diagonally wrapped with the same material, to finish the tool off.
