mask (dance & live theatre)

Kanaga mask, consisting of a main mask and two detachable arms. It is painted in white, black and blue.

Mask commissioned for the younger brother of Aguidé to dance at the Ireli Dama of 1999. Two kanaga were commissioned from the same artist. The mask was painted by Aguidé. The number two was added after a debate amongst youths of this quarter as to who was the best dancer.
