earring

One of a pair of earrings in white metal (possibly silver) with blue beads (possibly turquoise). Wire loops for hooking through pierced ears pass through a hemispherical stud to a circular, openwork panel with two floral motifs of curves ending in globules. (Compare 2002.279, which is of similar design). Each earring has two beads: one is diamond-shaped and pendant in the upper centre; the other inset centrally towards the lower edge. Seven flat white metal pendants with a central fold are suspended from the lower rim.
