Container for betel chew ingredients, locally called chien maak, in the northeastern Thai style. The container is in the form of a shallow open wooden box with outward-angled sides. The top is divided into one large compartment and three small, on a base of the same shape but inverted. There are geometric patterns carved on the outside of the container.
